29th of May, 2010 – Beinn Fhionnlaidh

Another nice walk down Glen Etive way, this time up the hill called Beinn Fhionnlaidh.

We started off under grey skies and soon enough we were in two minds whether or not to continue as it began to rain. Taking shelter under the trees of the forestry section the route follows at the start, we waited, umming and aaahhing awhile, before finally deciding that the rain was going off and if we just walked another ten minutes to open scenery we’d have a better idea of what to do. It was a good decision and we had a largely dry day thereafter. Cloudy above but views from the top and a pleasant enough hike.
