20th of September, 2011 – Light Sticks and Playful Seals in the Forth

First night paddle of the season for me and the seals were out to play which added a bizarre twist to the evening. Starting with the last of the daylight from Silverknowes, we crossed first to Crammond Island then over to the lighthouse at Oxcars. Lighsticks snapped then back over to the Crammond via Inchmickery where the seals began following us and occasionally  making contact with boats and paddles.

The winds dropped and sea calmed by the time we finished and it was a bit of a shame not to be on the water longer.
